Law enforcement, public safety personnel and other first responders came together to compete in a softball tournament in Greer, SC this past weekend. Val DiGiorgio shares the story:
The event, which was the 10th annual softball tournament of its kind, offered support in the amount of $28,000 to families of fallen first responders. The proceeds gathered from ticket and refreshments sales will be dispersed to six families of law enforcement officers who have been killed in the line of duty over the last decade. Val DiGiorgio and the Red, White & Blue Scholarship team salute this awesome display of sportsmanship, camaraderie and support for law enforcement personnel in the SC community.
