In collaboration with New England Revolution Charitable Foundation and the Massachusetts Military Support Foundation, the New England Patriots Foundation is doing their part to support military families and their children. Val DiGiorgio shares the details on Operation Backpack:
A collaborative effort, Operation Backpack is assisting families of the US military in getting ready to go back to school. The New England Patriots, and their nonprofit Foundation, are proud to play their role in the effort. In early August, the team donated a whopping 30,000 backpacks filled with back to school supplies and other goods to get kids ready for the upcoming Fall semester. Specifically, these backpacks will give back to America’s military heroes and their children.
