The California STEAM Symposium’s Winter of Computer Science (CS) Workshop is back for the month of February 2023. Registration is now open for all students interested in participating. STEAM Advocate Val DiGiorgio shares the details:
For 10 years, the CA STEAM Symposium has enriched academic and educational communities across the state of California. Striving to shine the spotlight on the importance of STEAM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics), the Symposium hosts a variety of engaging events, workshops and enriching opportunities for learning — year round. One such program that fellow advocate Val DiGiorgio is a particularly big supporter of is the Winter of CS Workshop, which is returning this February 2023!
Seasons of CS (Computer Science) is a year round program hosted by CA STEAM Symposium. The initiative is broken up into two parts: the Summer and Winter Workshops. These opportunities are available to students in grades K thru 12 who are interested in learning more about computer science. Val DiGiorgio proudly supports this program, which encourages students to embrace computer science as both a hobby and a career path. The CA STEAM Symposium hosts numerous workshops and programs throughout the year, all with the guiding intention to enrich the community. Every year, the organization hosts their official Symposium, which is an end-of-year event featuring riveting presentations from keynote speakers from a variety of industries and walks of life in the STEAM community.
