Today, April 27, 2022 from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm, WPI students and STEM professionals in the local area are invited to attend the 10th anniversary celebration of The STEM Education Center. STEAM supporter and professional, Val DiGiorgio shares the details:
Congratulations to Worcester Polytechnic Institute’s STEM Education Center on their 10th anniversary! To kick off the next decade right, faculty, staff and students have come together to host a celebration of old and new friends. Together, students and their peers will discuss the role the STEM collective plays in the local community. (Which is quite the empowering role, DiGiorgio must add!) The group has empowered PreK-12 educators in the Worcester area since its inception at WPI through various programs launched in collaboration with each other. Continuing their impact, the team will also discuss future projects in the local academic community. And, of course, the event will also recognize the retirement of the Center’s founder: Dr. Martha Cyr.
