The City of Clarksville is showing their appreciation for military children for the Month of the Military Child on April 9, 2022 at City Hall from 10 AM to 2 PM. The day will be full of kid-friendly fun! Val DiGiorgio shares the details:
Clarksville welcomes military families with children to join the community for an exciting, kid-friendly day of fun! The event will feature various events — 10, to be exact! — and also include other fun activities like a bouncy castle, shaved ice, and the chance to check out some local fire trucks, courtesy of the Clarksville Fire Department. Other events planned for the Month of the Military Children include Purple Up! For Military Kids Day on Friday, April 15th. This symbolizes representation of all branches of the military, as their colors combine to make the color purple. Community members will be encouraged to wear purple on this day to show their support to these young superheroes in the Clarksville area: military kids.
