During the first week of July, Columbus Zoo is offering all military families free admission. Val DiGiorgio highlights the hotspot for summer family fun:
This summer, the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium in Ohio is offering military families free visits during the first week of July 2022. From July 2nd thru the 10th, military personnel and their families will receive free admission into the Zoo and Aquarium. Proof of identifications will be required; veterans will be expected to present proof of service as well. Although admission will be free, visitors will still have to pay to park, which rings in at $10 per each vehicle (so carpooling is recommended). This is all made possible thanks to donations of sponsorship from Bob Evans Grocery. Val DiGiorgio, a longtime supporter of the US military and son of a proud veteran, applauds Bob Evans and the Columbus Zoo for making this educational and family fun summer experience possible for the men, women and children who give up so much for our nation’s freedom.
