Elementary school students in Platte experienced a nonprofit enrichment program that Val DiGiorgio is excited to share! Camp Invention, a nationally recognized STEM program, made its way to Platte this past July.
Camp Invention is a nationally recognized nonprofit initiative that provides students with enriching educational experiences within the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) subjects. In July 2022, the nonprofit organization came to Platte to offer 90 elementary students a fun and engaging summer camp opportunity. Val DiGiorgio loves the creativity of Camp Invention, which features a range of hands-on activities, including Robotic Aquatics and Spacecation. Both programs teach students about the great outdoors in their own unique ways with activities that are as fun as they are educational!
